Dr Stephen Lennon

Executive Chairman

Dr Lennon (BSc Chemistry and MSc and PhD in Metallurgical Engineering) is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience across several major sectors. These include power, gas, aboriginal commercial enterprises and public and private sector advisory.

He is an experienced Independent Director and Chairman, with extensive Board experience in leadership, oversight, audit and risk, strategy, investment, finance and funding, performance monitoring, communications, business development and ESG. His appointment enhances Mount Burgess’s leadership capacity as it progresses development of its key assets.

Will Belbin

Non-Executive Director

Mr Belbin (B.SC, M.SC) has over 20 years’ experience working in gold and base metals exploration, with extensive experience in project generation and evaluation. Will was an integral part of the Fisher East nickel sulphide discoveries as exploration manager for Rox Resources Limited. Previously Mr Belbin worked with Newexco as a senior geologist at Western Area’s Forrestania Nickel Project. 

Mr Belbin holds a geology degree from the University of Western Australia and a Masters of Mineral Economics from Curtin University’s Graduate School of Business and is a Founding Director and Managing Director of Metal Hawk

Scott Glasson

Non-Executive Director

Mr Glasson (B.Comm, CA) is a finance executive and chartered accountant with extensive corporate experience in the mining sector. Mr Glasson is CFO of Metal Hawk Limited and a Director of Daly Resources Limited. 

Chris Marshall

Company Secretary

Chris is an experienced corporate, mining and resources lawyer with over 18 years experience. Chris spent 5 years working for Corrs Chambers Westgarth in the corporate advisory team specialising in energy and resources. Chris then spent 7 years with Perilya Mining as Company Lawyer and Co Sec. Chris is currently Principal Director of Marshall Lawyers and is also a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Gregor Bennett

Exploration Manager

Gregor is an experienced exploration geologist with more than 15 years experience in WA, NT and QLD. Mr Bennett was Exploration Manager for Maximus Resources Limited where he drove a 250% increase in gold resources prior to the Company’s acquisition by Astral Resources. Previously Gregor was Exploration Manager at Rox Resources where he oversaw the resource growth at the Youanmi Gold project, doubling the resource inventory to 2.3Moz Au.
